The Pearl Handled Revolver sound has evolved and the band have gone from strength to strength. Both live and in the studio it is clear that there is a special combination here that cannot be described - only experienced.
Lee Vernon (Lead Vocals / Harmonica / Lyrics) has been the front man for a number of blues rock outfits over the years, performing all around the world (St.Tropez, Monaco, Germany, Holland, Dubai and UK) alongside some of the world’s finest musicians such as White Snake’s guitarist Bernie Marsden and the revered electronic music artist Bobby Wotnot. An experienced blues man with a stage presence to match who is also carving a name for himself as a commercial songwriter and arranger. The sounds coming from Lee’s lungs are nothing short of breathtaking, only to receive some respite from a driving harmonica solo or two.
Simon Rinaldo (Organ / Electric Piano) is a tremendous keyboard player with a unique style honed by many years of performing. Formerly of Bowfinger (Bedfordshire’s Mod / Ska sensation) Blunderherd and Shrunk, Simon's talents have always been in great demand; from numerous professional sessions both in the studio and live (alongside artists such as Chrissie Hinde, Roy Wood, Alicia Keys, Ocean Colour Scene, Cheap Trick, The Fall, The Quireboys and Andrew WK to name a few) to appearances on BBC’s Top of The Pops, but never too far from his love of dirty blues. Simon’s aggressive Hammond Organ licks and delicate Rhodes intervals breathe life into the Pearl Handled Revolver sound.
Oli Carter (Bass Guitar/Acoustic Guitar) was the obvious addition to the line up. More than just a charismatic bass player, Oli has given inspiration to tracks like “Rainbow” and “Today Was The Day” with his haunting renditions on classical and steel strung acoustic guitar and recently giving PHR a second electric guitar in certain songs where the extra power is needed. Oli is the roots of Pearl Handled Revolver; he remains a constant driving force in the writing process and is always a focal point on stage.
Chris Thatcher (Drums / Vocals ) is the newest member of Pearl Handled Revolver, previously front-man for the retro stoner rock band, Sulpher. A chance meeting at the right time enabled Pearl Handled Revolver to turn the corner and become complete. Chris adds the groove and edge to the Pearl Handled Revolver sound. His unique vintage style blends power, psychedelic soul and intricacy , bringing the whole experience together.
Andy Paris (Guitar) Take a natural propensity for “Rail-Road” rhythms and the power of Hard Funk Rock, add to that the ability to create unforgettable hooks and you're just getting close.Andy’s talent for find the right riff has become a major part in the writing process for Pearl Handled Revolver, he knows that ‘less is more’ but when required can apply ‘more is better!’. He possess the only thing capable of matching overdriven Hammond… a Fender Telecaster a Twin Reverb and “THE BLUES”.
